Common questions
How do I remove the watermark from my exports?
Upgrade to Umber Pro. It's a one-time in-app purchase, no subscription. Tap the Adjust knob on the camera screen and Umber will walk you to the upgrade sheet.
How do I import my own LUT?
Scroll the film-box shelf on the camera screen all the way to the right. The "+" tile opens the Import LUT sheet - point it at any .cube file from your Files app and it'll sit on the shelf alongside the built-in stocks. Requires Umber Pro.
Where are my recorded videos saved?
In your Photos app, under an album called "Umber" that Umber creates the first time you save a video or photo.
Can I use my Umber footage anywhere?
Yes. Everything you record with Umber belongs to you. Use it commercially, share it, sell it - Umber claims no rights over your content.
What iPhones does Umber support?
iPhone 8 or newer, running iOS 15 or later. Umber is not currently available on iPad.
I bought Pro. How do I restore it on a new device?
Open the upgrade screen and tap "Restore Purchase" at the bottom. Your one-time purchase is tied to your Apple ID and transfers automatically.
The app crashed / a feature isn't working - what should I do?
Email me at the address below. Include your iPhone model and iOS version, and a rough description of what you were doing when the problem happened. That's usually enough to reproduce and fix it.
